Team Members

Referees:

Cao Yue: Cao has been a referee for years and was a key referee in the Hai Xia Basketball Tournament (High School Division) in 2016, Adidas Basketball Tournament in 2016, the city's 3v3 basketbal tournament and ASAS basketball league games. He is always well prepared and receives positive feedback from colleagues and players alike.

Wang Bo Shu: Majoring physical education (basketball) in university, Wang took part in the Redbull basketball tournaments in 2015 and 2016 as a main referee. He also played a key role as referee in the university league games and Peak basketball tournament in 2016. His devotion and commitment to his work receive much praise among his colleagues and the players.

BM: With more than ten years of experience as a referee, BM is a basketball enthusiast who majored in law back in school. Although she has a very busy schedule with her career in the legal industry, she persists in continuing her commitment in basketball. As one of the founders of FLAME women's basketball club, BM started a league a few years ago (Play Like A Girl), which provided a platform for the amateur women's basketball community.

Cao Ling Ting: Cao has been a fan of basketball since she was young, and learnt to play basketball for three years. Although she did not major in sports in university, she started her career as a referee nine years ago since she was in university. She was the assistant team leader of the officials team and coach as well. In addition to her involvement in these roles, she was the team captain and led her team to the CUBA selection league tournament in Hunan. Despite her busy work schedule, her passion for this team sport has never changed.

大E: National Level 1 Referee and P.E. teacher, Big E has experience as a referee in KFC 3V3, Hangzhou Huanglong Women's Basketball Cup, Chengbei Basketball League Games, Hangzhou Middle School Basketball League Games, etc. As a referee, Big E is devoted to provide the best experience for the teams. She also has previous experience organizing basketball events.

Table Officials Leader

Iris: Iris works in translation/interpretation in an airline company. During her leisure time, she spends most of her time in basketball and enjoys spending time with her team mates. She started playing basketball in university and have been playing for over 3.5 years. During that time, she also gained work experience as a table official for three years in the CUBA league games.

Team Attaches

Helen (Hangzhou Friday's Team Attache ): Despite her hectic career in DHL, Helen continues to get involved in the women's basketball community as a player, volunteer and team member. Determined to keep playing this game until she turns 80 years old, Helen looks forward to meet more new friends who share the same passion. She hopes to keep growing in all areas of the game and wants to serve the community as part of her commitment to this team sport.

Teddy (Wuxi Erquan Team Attache ): Teddy has been passionate about basketball since she was a child. For her, basketball has been her close friend since young. Even after she left school, she continued to play this team sport. Teddy plays as center in MELODY Moonie and enjoys her time with her team. Basketball will always be a hobby that she loves, come join the fun!

Crystal (Suzhou Together Attache): Crystal works in HR and has been playing basketball for over ten years. Currently a player in MELODY Moonie, basketball has helped to bring out her passionate side in life. Playing basketball has led her to get to know many basketball friends who share the same hobby as her. Other than basketball, Crystal also enjoys trekking.

Coordinators

Eva: With six years playing experience, Eva has not played for over 30 years. However, she is very excited and glad to be part of the women's basketball community in this tournament!

Bee: Owner of a shop on Taobao, and currently preparing for CPA exams; playing sports has been Bee's favorite hobby. She got to know basketball from watching Slam Dunk when she was young. After working for half a year upon graduation from school, Bee found MELODY women's basketball club by chance. Without hesitation, she joined the club, and has been a supporter of women's basketball since then.

Hedy: Hedy first got in touch with basketball in high school in a league game, where she fell in love with basketball. She started as a newbie in basketball, but started getting more serious with basketball after she joined MELODY. Although she is no longer playing basketball now (due to an injury); she is still very happy to have met many friends through basketball. She will continue to support the women's basketball community and looks forward to all the upcoming games!

Creative Team Leader

Tomi: 中国新摄影家协会会员，资深球鞋玩家，目前就职于潮流网站YOHO！Buy招商工作，也是MELODY月亮队队员。篮球是五个人的运动，它让我和伙伴们的默契越来越深厚。A member of China New Photographer Association, an avid sneaker fan; Tomi currently works in the business development team in YOHO! Buy. A MELODY Moonie team member, she believes that basketball is a team sport that involves the team work of five team mates. Basketball has brought her and her team mates/friends closer.

Food & Beverage

Jennifer: JA player in the school's basketball team back in high school, Jenn basically stopped her basketball life upon graduation. However, as her younger sister is a big fan of basketball; she occasionally gets involved in basketball when given the chance. A specialist in marketing in the education industry, she enjoys reading, watching movies and travelling during her leisure time.

Fang : In addition to being a volleyball, badminton, basketball, ping pong player and swimmer back in school, Fang is basketball fan who is also great with numbers. Also she has stopped playing basketball after she left school due to work and family commitments, she found her passion for sports and travel due to her daugther's influence (who is passionate about sports).

Table Officials :

Jun: An eight grader in SHSID, Jun plays center in the school basketball team. He will be in charge of table officiating in this tournament, and hopes to improve his knowledge of the game through this experience.

Joshua: An eight grader in SHSID, Joshua is 183 cm tall and plays center in the school basketball team. He spends most of his free time on basketball and took part in several basketball events. His favorite basketball player is Joel Embiid. Other than basketball, he also likes music.

Videographers :

Anna: An eight grader in SHSID, Anna plays as point guard in the school basketball team. Other than basketball, Anna also plays soccer. Her favorite basketball player is Allen Iverson. Other than basketball and soccer, Anna also likes to play the guitar.

Barbie: An eight grader in SHSID, Barbie plays as point guard in the school basketball team. Other than basketball, Barbie also plays soccer and track & field. She hopes to learn more about this team sport through volunteering in the event.

Photographers :

Bonny: An eight grader in SHSID, Bonny plays as small forward in the school basketball team. Other than basketball, Bonny still only loves basketball. When asked to introduce herself briefly, she said: "Love basketball!".

Tiffany: An eight grader in SHSID, Tiffany plays as small forward in the school basketball team. Other than basketball, Tiffany also plays badminton, and likes music and art. She hopes to learn more about this team sport through volunteering in the event. Her favorite basketball player is Stephen Curry.

Mo: A huge anime fan, Mo chose to major in Japanese in university. A working professional in a Japanese company since her graduation, Mo often went to play basketball with guys in the past when she could not find other female ballers. She also enjoys photography and has been taking shots of basketball moments for her basketball friends for years.

Music:

Shawn: An eight grader in SHSID, Shawn plays as a small forward in the school basketball team. Other than basketball, Shawn loves music very much. He enjoys helping others, and that is why he decided to volunteer at this event taking the role of music control. His favorite basketball player is Stephen Curry.

MC:

Vee: She first got to know basketball because of her brothers. Although she only started to play in high school, her passion for this game never changed. After a few years of practice at Toastmasters, Vee is now getting more and more comfortable with public speaking. She works in sports, and is the founder of MELODY.
