Do you still remember this scene? After leaving basketball for several years, unwilling to face his true feelings, Mitsui finally admitted that he wants to come back and play in his basketball team. When I first watched Slam Dunk, I was only ten. Twenty years have passed, yet I am still in love with this team sport. For those of you who have never watched this anime series, the photo above is probably just a picture of a guy kneeling on the floor with the subtitle “I want to play basketball.” But for those who have watched Slam Dunk, it means something a lot more than that.
I am definitely not the only one who started the relationship with basketball because of Slam Dunk. Having left school for so many years, those of you who are still playing until now will know why you are still doing so. Family, career, love, personal development commitments are valid excuses we use to stop playing this game. Getting older is another big reason most of us use to stop playing basketball. But so many years have passed, yet when I reflected back the memories I had from graduation day until now; basketball is the only thing that I persisted all these years. What does it mean? I have to stop running away from my true passion. I love basketball, I am passionate about basketball, and I worship basketball.
In order to be around basketball 24/7, I decided to look for a career focusing in serving the women’s sports community. Unfortunately, I still have not met her after so many years. Thus I decided to start my career in women’s sports in 2016. After six years of preparation and contemplation, finally I am starting it~ To celebrate the opening of Adriana, I will be organizing a 5v5 women’s basketball invitational tournament on December 17th, 2016.

Team Attache ：3 Candidates
As the team attaché, your role is to provide support for the assigned participating team as necessary before, during and after the tournament. The team attaché also acts as the main liaison between the assigned participating team and the organizing crew.
Coordinator：4 Candidates
As the coordinator, your role is to act as the liaison among the organizing crew, team attaches, and other coordinating teams.
In addition, Adriana is also looking to host students who love this game! Are you a university or college student? Are you looking to gain work experience in this sector? Or, are you a high school student looking for work experience to prepare for your university applications? Welcome you to join the volunteer team!

Who is Adriana? Adriana is a sports company established in December 2016 that focuses on serving the women’s sports community. With experience in amateur women’s basketball for over 12 years and having travelled to 53 countries around the world to see the women’s sports in these countries; she wants to provide more opportunities for this group of sports enthusiasts to participate in sports. Through the Adriana’s platform, she hopes to improve the quality of life of women and girls through sports participation, development and education. Founded in Shanghai, China, Adriana’s vision is to connect women’s sports around the world so that you can find a place to play and meet people who share the same passion for your sport wherever you go.
