League Violations Guidelines

Disclaimer on the implementation of the rules and regulations set out on this post: Adriana Sports and Cultural Development (Shanghai) Co. Ltd created the following guidelines, rules, and regulations to ensure a smooth operation of the league games. Adriana 5v5 league committee will communicate with teams first about the violations in situations whereby it is violated for the first time. Should the team that has violated the rule continues the violation, the team needs to take on the penalties by the guidelines listed here. This does not include any serious violations such as fighting or injuring others, such violations will be taken seriously and the penalties will be implemented without delay (deposit will be deducted, and the team will be disqualified from the league immediately).

1. Participating teams' requirements/expectations

• Participating teams are responsible of ensuring all participating players reach the requirements to play in the league; should anyone violate this rule, the team will be fined RMB500.

2. Participating teams' responsibilities

• A minimum of 7 registered player from each team are required to be present at all games of each team. The team manager needs to provide the list of players playing in each game 20 minutes prior to the start of the game. Violation of this rule will lead a fine of RMB500;

• Each player can only play in a team, representing that team. Violation of this rule will lose her deposit of RMB300;

• Players must play wearing the jerseys registered in the registration form. Players who do not have the correct jerseys will not be allowed to play in that game;

• Each team is required to host games providing an indoor full court (28m*15m) for 2 hours, 2 referees with at least 3 years refereeing experience, 2 table officials with at least 1 year experience, 1 medical support, and 1 volunteer from the team to write a game summary for her/his team. The game summary needs to be given to the Organizer within 3 days (Eg. For the game summary that happens on April 8, it needs to be sent to the Organizer before 23:59 on April 11). Violation of this rule will be fined RMB300;

• During game time, only participants and team members listed on the registration form are allowed in the team bench area. Violation of this rule will be fined RMB300;

• Team members (who are not playing) need to wear the appropriate gear at the games (sandals or flip flops are not allowed), violation of this rule will be fined RMB300.

3. Team meeting

• Each participating team needs to send a representative to attend the team meeting at a designated cafe by the Organizer (exact information will be sent out prior to the meeting). Violation of this rule will be fined RMB500.

4. League schedule

• All participating teams must attend all the schedule games, any absence without notice will result in a fine of RMB1,000;

• A forfeit will result in a fine of RMB300, and this will be recorded by the league committee; a second violation will lead the team to disqualify from the league;

• Participating teams which refuse to start the game after being requested by the referees will be fined RMB500;

• If a team fails to have 5 players after 15 minutes of the game's starting time, the team will be fined RMB300.

5. Award ceremony

• The top 4 teams in each group of the league are required to attend the award ceremony, all players present should wear the appropriate attire (sandals or flip flops are not allowed); violation of this rule will lead a fine of RMB500.

6. League disciplinary rules

• Please respect the opponents, officials, staff, and volunteers in all the games in the league. Any behaviors that are threatening or disrespectful to anyone involved in the league are not allowed. Please refrain from swearing, insulting others, or trash talking. Fighting is not allowed. Any violation will lead to a fine of between RMB300~RMB1,000;

• Smoking is not allowed within and nearby the basketball court, any violators will be fined RMB500;
  

• Any use of players not registered in the registration form will not only result in the record of the league committee, fined RMB500, your team will be disqualified from the league;

• If any public facilities is ruined or damaged which leads to a fee from the owner, the player or team member will have to pay for all the costs that incur due to this behavior;

• This league encourages good sportwomenship: players are required to take on a positive playing attitude and have good sportswomenship; through the games in this league, the Organizer hopes that every participating team will improve, and learn about the team sport of basketball; this is an opportunity for all participating teams to develop team spirit, team work, and an improvement of the overall playing level of the team.

7. Others

• During the league period, all participating teams are not allowed to advertise or promote personal services or products in any way; violators will be fined RMB1,000.

Added notes to the rules and regulations of the league：

• All personal information provided to the Organizer for this league will be kept confidential, and will only be used for the league's purposes of informing the latest news about the league;

• Participating teams, players, and team members have given permission to the Organizer the right to use of her portrait for promotion and marketing purposes of this league and the development of amateur women' basketball;

• Adriana reserves the rights the right to explain the terms listed out on this document, and any points that may happen which are not included on the list above will be handled accordingly in discretion of the league committee of Adriana.
